Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Dallas

Our highest level of care. Designed from scratch using a comprehensive approach.

Outpatient Rehab Center in Dallas, TX

Lighthouse Recovery is an Outpatient Rehab Center in Dallas, Texas. We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to treat addiction, mental health, and dual diagnosis via an integrative and custom-designed curriculum. The program last for 4 weeks and consists of 25 hours of programming per week plus psychiatric support. Once clients complete the PHP program, most choose to “step-down” to the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) level of care. Unless clients are already living in a structured and supportive environment, we would generally recommend Sober Living while attending PHP for true, 24/7, wraparound care.

All of our therapists are licensed, Master’s-level clinicians, and trained in a variety of treatment modalities. Our holistic philosophy combines traditional, experimental, experiential, and life-skills programming in a setting that is uplifting and compassionate. We work with most private insurance providers to help offset the majority of the out-of-pocket treatment cost.

Our licensed Partial Hospitalization Program is located in the heart of Dallas and is easily accessible. We provide integrative PHP services in a beautiful and discrete setting near I-635 and the Dallas North Tollway. With decades of experience in the field, our team of professionals are capable of not only treating addiction, but also the underlying causes and conditions. We believe that both must be treated simultaneously in order to create maximum success.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Benefits

Our programming is highly-structured for individuals who need to build confidence in their sobriety. We'll provide you with the necessary tools, support, knowledge, and most importantly, real-world application.

At Lighthouse, we've always challenged the industry norms. We believe that "group therapy" alongside 30 other persons is not therapy - it's a lecture at best. That's why we cap our groups at 8 persons. This allows us to build better community, transparency, accountability and trust amongst staff and clients. We're selective with applicants and tailor each group based off of history and compatibility.

We employ staff specializing in a wide range of modalities, allowing us to provide a more comprehensive approach. Our curriculum is not an "off-the-shelf model," it's been designed completely in-house, from scratch, using our team's decades of cumulative experience.

Psychiatric Care

The Partial Hospitalization level of care includes a once-per-week meeting with our Psychiatrist. If the client is already seeing a psychiatrist, our treatment team will coordinate with that provider to ensure wraparound care.

Insurances We Accept

Lighthouse accepts 100+ private insurance policies and offers cost-effective private-pay plans.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Dallas

At Lighthouse Recovery, we believe that the PHP level of care should give our clients the strongest foundation possible upon which to build independence. It’s an highly-focused program, with groups meeting 5 days a week, for 5 hours a day, plus individual therapy and psychiatric visits. It is most often used in lieu of Residential Treatment (when combined with Sober Living) or as the first “step-down” post discharge from Residential. PHP gives clients the knowledge, tools, support, and structure to start building strength and confidence in their sobriety. PHP should be seen as the first step of an extended treatment program that also includes Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and possibly Sober Living.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program in Dallas utilizes the most effective evidence based practices, as well as supplemental services which allow us to treat individuals, individually. Our tailored approach to our PHP takes a deep look into the individual’s history and needs to create a program to support them in their journey to lasting recovery and happiness. We believe that addressing the underlying issues, rather than trying to treat the symptoms of addiction or alcoholism, will lead to more positive experiences and outcomes in those we serve.

PHP Frequently Asked Questions

What is PHP?

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a higher level of care on the treatment spectrum.  It consists of five 5-hour group sessions a week with a licensed therapist and at least one 1-hour individual therapy session. PHP offers a highly-structured, intensive, and supportive environment for those unable or having recently discharged from Residential Treatment.

Is PHP right for me?

PHP is suitable for higher-acuity clients who need structure and support in early sobriety. PHP is often paired with a Sober Living environment.

Although we like to be able to help as many individuals as possible at Lighthouse, some clients require a higher level of care (Detox) initially due to the severity of their addiction and are later suitable for the PHP level of care. We offer a free assessment for everyone who calls needing help with no obligation to enroll in our programs. Let one of our trained professionals help you make the determination.

How long does PHP last?

Typically, PHP lasts 4 weeks. There are a number of factors that help determine the program length, such as insurance benefits, medical necessity, and engagement.

How much does PHP cost?

PHP is often more affordable than Residential or Inpatient care. We’re able to work with most private insurances to help offset the cost of your treatment with us.  If for some reason your insurance doesn’t cover our program or you don’t have insurance, we can always discuss our Scholarship Self-Pay rates. Our finance team may be able to help you set up a payment plan, if you are unable to come up with the full cost upfront.

What happens if I relapse in an PHP?

As unfortunate as it may appear to be at the time, every experience can be turned into a positive lesson, if you are honest and seek immediate help. For some people, relapse is part of the process and it only has to be a negative if you don’t work to get back on track. It’s hard for some people to come to terms with being addicted to alcohol or drugs, so a relapse could be the motivation to focus harder on their recovery. If one does occur, call your support system and your program contact immediately. One mistake does not have to derail your journey to lasting recovery and happiness.
