Now, let’s review some frequently asked questions – and get into the who, what, when, where, and why of an IOP
- What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
An IOP is often called an outpatient rehab program. It’s a lower level type of treatment for addiction, mental health, and more – often the next step after an individual completes an inpatient or residential rehab. An IOP is also a solid choice for those individuals unable to completely step away from their job or family into a 30-day residential treatment center, yet need intensive therapy to help overcome their addiction or confront their mental health disorder(s).
Lighthouse Recovery offers a unique, individualized approach to our IOP. Most programs include 4 therapy sessions a week (3 groups, and at least 1 individual) which can be customized to the individual or family. All of our therapists are licensed Masters-level professionals who know how to treat not just addiction, but the underlying causes. We keep our group sessions small to maximize your experience.
