Andrew Lenz
House Manager
“My mission is to help individuals realize that change is possible by sharing my journey and guidance from addiction to growth.”
Andrew Lenz serves as a House Manager at Lighthouse Recovery, where he provides day-to-day support, structure, and accountability for residents in our Extended Care program. In this role, Andrew ensures that the sober living environment remains consistent, safe, and conducive to recovery – helping clients navigate the daily rhythms of life in sobriety while holding them to the standards that make lasting change possible. His background in maintenance and property management gives him the practical skills to keep operations running smoothly, but it’s his personal experience in recovery that makes him effective in the role.
Andrew’s journey to Lighthouse began as a client. He knows firsthand what it feels like to be early in sobriety – the emotions, the uncertainty, the slow process of learning to live differently. His recovery is grounded in the 12-Step program, and that foundation shapes how he supports residents today. Having also experienced incarceration, Andrew understands the challenges addiction can bring to individuals and their families in ways that go beyond the clinical. That history has taught him deep gratitude and responsibility – principles he lives by every day and brings into every interaction with residents, especially those facing legal challenges of their own.
Andrew’s goal is to help clients build their own program of recovery and grow into authentic men. He connects with residents on a personal level because he’s been where they are – and he’s living proof that the work pays off. His presence in the house is a daily reminder that recovery is possible, that accountability is an act of care, and that the structure Lighthouse provides isn’t meant to constrain but to build something that lasts.
