Brad Stover
House Manager
“I’ve learned that meaningful human connection can loosen the grip of problems that once felt permanent. My mission is to help clients rediscover the spark within themselves – the one that encourages curiosity, humility, and a willingness to grow.”
Brad Stover serves as a House Manager at Lighthouse Recovery, where he provides daily structure, accountability, and support for residents in our Extended Care program. Brad holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. Before joining Lighthouse, he worked as a personal trainer and in technical roles – a background that gave him both a foundation in helping people change and the analytical mindset to solve problems on the fly.
Brad’s own recovery journey has given him more than sobriety – it has given him peace of mind, purpose, and a deep sense of connection with others. He once imagined himself in a behind-the-desk or IT role, but he quickly discovered that he thrives working on the front lines of this field. There’s something about direct, daily engagement with clients that a screen can’t replicate – and Brad has embraced that fully.
For Brad, the most rewarding part of the work is seeing pieces of his own story reflected in the clients he serves. He knows what it’s like to be where they are, and he shows up for them – day by day – in whatever way the moment calls for. Whether it’s holding someone accountable, providing transportation, navigating a difficult conversation, or simply being a steady presence in the house, Brad brings intention and care to every interaction.
