Bryce Hand
Case Manager
“I remember how lonely it felt to be stuck in addiction. My mission is to give back what was given to me – to help others feel heard, seen, and supported as they take the next step toward a better life.”
Bryce Hand serves as a Case Manager at Lighthouse Recovery, where he works directly with clients and their families in our Extended Care program. In this role, Bryce helps clients set goals, establish boundaries, and build the accountability that sustainable recovery requires. He serves as a consistent point of contact for families – providing regular updates, navigating difficult conversations, and helping parents understand how to support their son’s progress without enabling old patterns. Bryce holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from the University of Texas at Tyler and brings a competitive, team-oriented mindset shaped by years of athletics, including basketball, football, and track.
Bryce is a proud alumnus of the full Lighthouse program. Born and raised in East Texas, he struggled to find his purpose and career path after high school sports ended – and that lack of direction, paired with substances, led to depression. As an only child, he could see the harm his addiction was causing his parents, but for years he had no desire to change. Addiction held him and his family hostage, keeping him from launching toward his potential.
Lighthouse gave Bryce the foundation and tools to plant a flag and find purpose and confidence again. That experience – coming through the program himself – shapes how he works with clients and families today. He knows what it’s like to feel stuck, to watch yourself hurt the people who love you, and to slowly rebuild trust through consistent action. Bryce and his family are continuing to grow stronger together; they recently traveled to Colorado for a concert at Red Rocks – the kind of moment that wouldn’t have been possible before recovery.
