David Solomon
Assistant House Manager
“I strive to meet people where they are, lead by example, and help create a supportive environment built on honesty, accountability, and steady personal growth.
David Solomon serves as an Assistant House Manager at Lighthouse Recovery, where he helps oversee operations, supports clients, and maintains a safe, structured living environment. David is currently a student at the University of North Texas, where he has made the Dean’s List with a 3.75 GPA and an expected graduation date of 2027. His interests in psychology and substance abuse recovery reflect a deeper commitment to understanding the work he does – not just performing it, but growing in it.
David came to Lighthouse first as a resident, where he committed to his recovery through structure, accountability, and working a 12-step program. Over time, he built strong rapport with staff and peers, becoming actively involved in supporting the house environment. That investment didn’t go unnoticed – he was offered a position as a House Manager, a natural progression for someone who had already been leading by example.
David’s approach is grounded in honesty, empathy, and a genuine desire to make each day better for others. He believes in the power of connection and meeting people where they are – and finds purpose in helping residents stay accountable while staying anchored in his own recovery. For David, the work is mutual – he’s committed to growth, both his and theirs, and finds fulfillment in the support and healing that this community makes possible.
