Frank Gomez, Sr.
Director of Residential Operations
“Living in recovery, I find more joy in daily life than I ever thought possible. I chose to take my life back from the powerful grip of addiction, and love helping others do the same.”
Frank Gomez Sr. serves as Director of Residential Operations at Lighthouse Recovery, where he structures and oversees the residential program that forms the foundation of our Extended Care experience. In this role, Frank works closely with House Managers, Case Managers, and support staff to ensure a consistent, compassionate, and accountable treatment environment across all Lighthouse residences. His leadership ensures that every client experiences the structure, community, and real-world application that long-term recovery requires – while being met with the care and respect they deserve at every step.
Frank’s approach to his work is shaped by his own experience in recovery. He knows firsthand what it takes to reclaim a life from addiction, and he brings that understanding to every interaction with clients and families. Living in recovery has given him a deeper appreciation for the small, daily victories that lead to lasting change – and he’s passionate about helping others discover the same. Frank believes that when someone chooses sobriety, they’re not just giving something up – they’re taking their life back. That perspective informs everything he does at Lighthouse, from how he trains staff to how he coaches clients through their most difficult moments.
Beyond his operational leadership, Frank works directly with clients and families – coaching, supporting, and guiding them through some of the most difficult conversations they’ll ever have. He is passionate about family systems, honest communication, and the slow, intentional work of rebuilding trust that addiction has damaged. Frank brings a magnetic energy to everyone he works with, combining warmth and directness in a way that helps clients feel both supported and accountable. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Frank relocated to Dallas in 2021 and has since become an integral part of the Lighthouse team and the broader Dallas recovery community.
