Austin Riggs
House Manager
“Others walked alongside me when I was struggling. Now my purpose is to do the same – helping people move from despair toward hope and meaningful change.”
Austin Riggs serves as a House Manager at Lighthouse Recovery, where he supports daily operations in our Extended Care residences and helps ensure that clients have the structure, accountability, and encouragement they need in early recovery. Austin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development from Austin Community College and began his professional career in the finance department of a technology company. While he values the skills and discipline that background gave him, he ultimately discovered that his true calling lies in helping others on their recovery journey.
Austin is a former Lighthouse client himself. He understands firsthand the challenges, despair, and hope that come with recovery – and because others once walked alongside him and helped him find his way forward, he is deeply committed to offering that same support to those who are struggling. That experience shapes how he shows up for clients every day. Walking with individuals as they rebuild their lives has become some of the most meaningful and fulfilling work he has ever done.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys rock climbing and running – and he especially loves bringing clients along when he goes. He believes that movement, connection, and shared experiences can be powerful tools in recovery, and he actively creates opportunities for growth both inside and outside of traditional settings. His combination of professional discipline, personal experience, and genuine investment in clients makes him a valuable part of the Lighthouse team.
