Collin Brower serves as a Group and Individual Clinician at Lighthouse Recovery, where he provides therapy for clients navigating addiction, emotional regulation, and personal development. He holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University. Collin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas and brings five years of experience working in the substance use community – a field he’s been passionate about since the beginning of his career.
“My goal for everyone is to maximize the amount of happiness and joy they have in their lives. Sobriety is where this work starts, but not at all where it ends.”
Collin specializes in behavioral therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) – modalities designed to target the unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that cause much of the distress people experience. He also practices Positive Psychology, which focuses on individual happiness and the concrete steps people can take to achieve it. His approach is grounded, practical, and focused on helping clients build tools they can actually use – not just in treatment, but in life.
Before joining Lighthouse, Collin spent five years at Enterhealth Ranch, where he supported residential clients in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, facilitated psychoeducational and process groups, and developed skills in crisis de-escalation and trauma-informed care. He enjoys talking with clients about resilience, healthy coping strategies, and what it actually means to build a life worth living. Collin’s warmth, curiosity, and commitment to growth make him a natural fit for the clinical team at Lighthouse.
