Grant Young
Vice President of Growth and Strategic Partnerships
“I joined Lighthouse because of the people. Recovery is personal to me. I’m a product of Extended Care myself, and I made it out on the other side because a lot of people showed up for me when I couldn’t show up for myself.”
Grant Young serves as Vice President of Growth and Strategic Partnerships at Lighthouse Recovery, where he cultivates relationships with treatment centers, clinicians, interventionists, and other professionals who help families find the right care. With over 11 years of experience in Extended Care for young men facing mental health and substance use challenges, Grant brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to his role. He is a product of Extended Care programming himself – entering treatment at age 20 – and that experience shapes how he approaches every conversation with families, referral partners, and the broader recovery community.
Grant joined Lighthouse in 2022 and has since focused on expanding access to care by building partnerships grounded in trust, shared values, and a mutual commitment to client outcomes. He works closely with professionals across the treatment landscape to ensure that when a family is searching for the right next step, Lighthouse is a resource they can count on. His approach to these relationships is simple: do good work, communicate honestly, and let the results speak for themselves. The partnerships he’s built are rooted in Lighthouse’s clinical reputation, not sales tactics.
Having worked directly with hundreds of families navigating the often overwhelming recovery process, Grant understands what parents are going through when they make the call – the fear, the exhaustion, the hope that this time will be different. He combines that personal insight with professional expertise to support Lighthouse’s mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of young men and the families who love them. Grant’s role sits at the intersection of clinical care and community connection, ensuring that more people who need Lighthouse can find it.
