Sober Living in Dallas, TX

A nationally-recognized provider and the premier program in Dallas, TX.

The Sober Living Program at Lighthouse Recovery is designed for those in early sobriety who need structure and support during the transition back to independence. Sustained sobriety in early recovery is challenging when facing new and old triggers. When preventing relapse is the ultimate priority, returning home to a possibly unstable environment can be too much to handle.

Through our Sober Living Program, we focus on building curated sober communities and fostering peer support. Further, we offer life-skills training, a variety of group programming, and clinical therapies. Living in these homes is not just a means of shelter but comfort. Our residents enjoy our luxury settings where they can focus on sobriety and recovery.

Most residents who complete our Sober Living Program achieve lasting sobriety. We attribute this success to our “progress-based” approach, where each resident begins with individualized goals and milestones. This process allows each person to rebuild confidence and autonomy through their growth in a timeframe that works best for them.

Sober Living Program Benefits

Lighthouse Recovery provides Sober Living to those out of treatment or in our clinical programs. We have four homes located in a quiet neighborhood west of Preston Hollow in Dallas, Texas, near our clinical office. Each of these homes operates with a ratio of one staff member to three residents. This particular ratio is the highest of any Sober Living program. Our Sober Living program, especially when combined with clinical treatment, is an all-in-one solution for most residents. This program allows clients to reintegrate back into work or school slowly while building the relationships and skills needed for long-term success in recovery.

With our hyper-individualized approach, each resident and their family can receive the necessary care. We never work from a guidebook or use a one-size-fits-all method for our residents. Recovery is never the same process for any two people. Everything from our spacious houses packed with amenities to our luxurious beds, delicious food, and transportation ensures a comfortable stay. The calming atmosphere fosters a sense of tranquility and focus. Furthermore, our program allows for no more than eight people per house. We are designed to create and maintain an environment where residents look forward to spending time. In addition to our outstanding sober living homes, this program benefits residents through:

Family Support

Addiction and mental health issues can lead to dysfunctional relationships and further struggles after treatment. We work through the issues that residents and their families commonly face, building trust, boundaries, and healthy relationships. Our Sober Living Program incorporates family intervention as a means to unify the family and present a common ground approach.

Accountability

Each of our Sober Living Homes operates at a ratio of one staff member to three residents. Therefore, our staff takes extra care when focusing on residents and working with them to progress through their recovery. Our tiered management structure provides ample support for each resident.

Life Skills Training

The residents of our Sober Living Homes receive guidance for improving the management of tasks, finances, time, and stress. People commonly experience these issues outside of treatment without the skills or tools to tackle them while remaining sober. Rather than creating triggers and leading to relapse, our program provides each resident with a “real-world” setting where they can work to build confidence and autonomy.

Beautiful Homes

We currently have thirty beds across four Sober Living Homes, all located in a quiet neighborhood west of Preston Hollow in Dallas, TX. Each home is well-appointed, packed with amenities, and is a safe and comfortable haven for residents in early sobriety.

Why Choose our Dallas Sober Living Program?

Our individualized, progress-based system utilizes extensive support. The Sober Living experience is not simply a house but a home that nurtures strength and security in times of vulnerability. Extensively trained, our live-in house managers, full-time family case managers, directorial staff, and administrative support are all available to guide you on your journey. Moreover, to encourage fun and create bonding during the program, we offer company-organized recreational activities twice a month.

We provide process groups four times per week and require attendance at outside meetings to help you build a routine and structure moving forward. With randomized drug and breathalyzer testing and medication supervision, we help residents engage with accountability. To further support a resident’s recovery, we encourage family involvement via family case management meetings weekly.  Continuity of care is another priority for residents in our Sober Living Program. Therefore, we continue weekly client case management, clinician-led groups, and individual therapy sessions. We have a robust network of psychiatrists, neurofeedback specialists, and more.

As residents get closer to leaving their Sober Living Program, we assist with resume building and interview tactics. We also offer financial literacy groups. Our goal is to ensure we are sending you home with well-rounded tools to succeed in all aspects of life. We do not stop at treatment or sobriety. At Lighthouse Recovery, we aim to help you manage your life from small stressors such as bills and work to larger challenges such as relationships. Ultimately, we want you to enjoy a successful recovery filled with wellness and peace. We know our program can inspire hope, support, and strength throughout your journey.
