I was able to see that my past was my greatest asset and it gave me a keen ability to connect with others and help people who where burdened by addiction. I feel this work is my life’s calling.

What inspired you to choose this profession?
What would you want someone to know about working with you?
That I’m patient with others and am empathetic to the process. I’ve been there too. For families I want to walk through this process with them and be there as a resource and advocate. That I’m passionate about life-skills training and want our clients to leave the program with a strong, well-rounded foundation.
Why do you work at Lighthouse?
I work at Lighthouse because of the vision we have to go above and beyond. The passion of the staff is contagious to everyone that works with us.
What do you wish people knew about Lighthouse who might be hesitant to try it?
That we’ve been in your shoes and truly understand what early sobriety is like. That we’re not here to judge, but to help. And that long after you leave the program, you’re still a member of the Lighthouse family and will have developed impactful relationships for the rest of your life.
